And It Hurts....

The next few days went really tough for Sameer, confessing love has never been easy. And he had confessed infront of odd number of people. He didn’t know what to do, how to set things right. Just then he logged on to facebook to check Rohan’s profile, he was curious to know about him and ofcourse his relation with Ruchika.

Rohan’s facebook status  said “Married to Niharika Arora.” And when he checked the list of relatives he saw Ruchika’s name in the list of cousins. Sameer pushed his chair back and immediately called Ritesh.

“Ritesh he is married” shouted Sameer. (sounding really happy)

“What are you talking about? Are you sane? Replied Ritesh.”

“Yes Rohan is married and Ruchika is his cousin.”

“What? Are you serious? Bloody hell dude. You are a lucky b*****d.” Exclaimed Ritesh.

“What do I do next? Should I call her and apologize? ”Asked Sameer.

“No we should get drunk, (pauses for a while) ofcourse go call her.”Replied Ritesh.

It took a lot of courage for Sameer to call Ruchika.  Finally the phone on the other end rings.

“Ruchika, please don’t hang the call, I have something to say.”

“I am not, what do you have to say.”

“Ruchika, I am very sorry.”

“Sorry for what Sameer?”

“Ruchika can we please meet?”

There is silence for a while…. And replies Ruchika.

“Alright, tomorrow 8pm Leopold Café, Colaba.”

“Works just fine with me…. I will be there.” Replies Sameer.
